Frequently asked questions
Don’t worry – it’s very unlikely, but if your child doesn’t learn to ride during the session, we’ve got you covered with our Rider Promise. If they’re not riding confidently by the end, your coach will give you a discount code for a follow-up session at a reduced rate of just £20.
We ask that parents or carers stay throughout the class or remain on-site at the venue during the session. You're welcome to grab refreshments if available, but please stay nearby and accessible in case our coaches need your assistance with anything.
Parents and carers are welcome to take photos or videos of their own child during the session. However, we kindly ask that you avoid capturing other children in your images or footage to respect everyone’s privacy. If you would like to arrange a session where no pictures or videos are allowed, this can be arranged by emailing us at info@getpedalready.co.uk.
At Get Pedal Ready, we host our learn-to-ride sessions at various locations. To find the exact details for a specific event, including the venue location, date, and time, please visit our event page.
Our sessions are 2 hours long unless stated otherwise in the event-specific information.
Please ensure your child brings a pedal bike without stabilisers, a bike helmet, snacks, water, and bags full of enthusiasm. There will be multiple opportunities for your children to have a break. If the class is held outdoors, make sure they’re dressed appropriately for the weather—this might include a rain mac, gloves, a thin beanie to wear under their helmet, or sun cream, depending on the conditions. To find out if your session is indoors or outdoors, please visit the specific event page for more information.
